Mary Elizabeth Dahl-Grise

Mary E. Dahl-Grise was born and raised in Minnesota. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Luther College, Decorah, IA and a Master of Arts degree from Emerson College, Boston, MA.

Mary began her professional career with Friends of Post Office Square, Boston, MA. Friends of Post Office Square is a unique public/private joint venture between the City of Boston and the private entities which surrounded the square. The square was redeveloped and revitalized to contain the current seven story below ground parking garage, a 1.7 acre park, cafe, car care service and dry cleaner.

After resigning as Assistant Vice President of Friends of Post Office Square in 1998, Mary founded Mary Grise Interiors and consulted for two interior design firms. During that time, she polished her skills in room finishing details. In the spring of 2005, Mary opened The Inside View at 29 Washington Street, Haverhill, MA. Mary has a patient ability to listen to her clients. She has a knack to ask questions that provoke client responses which reveal their personalities and taste. Mary's experience in construction, project management and attention to detail, make her an ideal candidate to guide her clients through all phases and levels of design/build. She has the ability to envision the completed project and lead her clients through the many choices that need to be made in a timely manner. Mary is known for her patience and calming influence, color selection, smooth design process, and unique spaces tailored to each individual client.
